Cancer Prevention in Action (CPiA)
If someone says that the sun cannot damage your skin in the fall or winter months, we say, don’t FALL for it! Skin cancer is caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation which is emitted from the sun in all seasons and all weather. Stony Brook Cancer Center’s CPiA program is here to help your organization or health center stay sun safe all year long through skin cancer prevention community education, staff trainings, social media outreach, policy support, and more!
